Tzatziki Dipping Sauce

No matter the occasion, the Tzatziki dipping sauce is a great snack. Either as a small bite at parties, appetiser at barbecues, picnics or outdoor gatherings, casual dinner or a bowl to share over brunch, always a fantastic idea. Not to say it's done in minutes (less than 10) and is a crowd pleaser. Works so well with raw veggies, grilled meat or halloumi, fresh salads, pitas, arabic bread, crusty bread, bagels, pretzels, tortillas, whatever you fancy. Grab the Greek yoghurt and start making, you will love it! It's Zelidecious!

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 gr. Greek yoghurt 
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped mint
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and squeezed of excess water)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  1. In a large bowl put the Greek yoghurt, crushed garlic clove, chopped mint and dill and grated cucumber. Mix well to combine.
  2. Add salt and pepper and taste.
  3. Transfer the dip into a serving bowl, drizzle some olive oil on top and garnish with mint leaves.
  4. Enjoy!
